Memorial Day weekend
I am taking the plunge cougars. My children are 7 and 12 and I have never gone on any trip without them. My guy has asked me to join him at the beach this weekend and I am going! I am struggling a little with guilt because they love the beach. But I figure some time away from them having fun will do us all some good. I am stressed and getting away from the daily grind and from them can't be a bad thing. Thoughts? Sentiments?

I don't see a problem with you having a "weekend getaway" with your man. Ensure that your children are in a safe environment with a friend/family and ...HIT THE ROAD. Once you are divorced you tend to feel guilty about leaving the kids, but you must understand that your love for them does not end, it is only hightened when your happy and satisfied (sexually). Which only comes from a certain satisfaction that you get from your mate...Enjoy your weekend and trust that God knows your heart.
